About our team
The Kosovo Cyber Team is a dynamic and skilled group dedicated to advancing cybersecurity expertise in the region. Our team is led by Korab Keqekolla, a senior member who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and technical skills. The senior team comprises Andi Ahmeti, Abian Morina, Malsor Abdyli, and Dea Rexha, each bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge in various aspects of cybersecurity. They work closely with the junior members, Roni Veseli, Erina Blakiqi, Gerta Hodolli, Enes Hamza, and Yll Berisha, who are rapidly growing their skills under the mentorship of the seniors.
Our mentors, Prof. Dr. Blerim Rexha and Hafize Bajrami, bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the Kosovo Cyber Team. Prof. Dr. Rexha is a distinguished academic with over 25 years of experience in computer engineering. He is a Full Professor at the University of Prishtina, where he has been teaching since 2007. Prof. Dr. Rexha completed his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology and has authored over 50 scientific papers. He also holds a patent in the field of secure information transmission. With extensive experience in both academia and industry, including a significant tenure at Siemens AG in Vienna, Prof. Dr. Rexha’s guidance is instrumental in shaping the future of cybersecurity in Kosovo.
Hafize Bajrami, the Chief of the Cyber Defense Section at the Ministry of Defense (MoD), is also a vital mentor to our team. Her leadership in national cybersecurity efforts and her expertise in defending critical infrastructure against evolving cyber threats provide invaluable insights and direction. Together, they are shaping a new generation of cybersecurity professionals in Kosovo.
This combines the profiles of both mentors to highlight their complementary strengths in guiding the Kosovo Cyber Team.
Our team is united by a common goal: to push the boundaries of cybersecurity and contribute to the safety and security of digital environments both locally and globally.
